Partner program/Program Terms

ViralUp Partner Program Terms

Last updated: 11.07.2026

These terms govern participation in the ViralUp Partner Program (the "Program"). By applying to or participating in the Program you agree to them. The Program is operated by ViralUp. If you do not agree with these terms, do not apply.

1. Eligibility and approval

The Program is private. Taking part requires an application and written approval from ViralUp.

  • You apply through the form on our affiliates page. Every application is reviewed by hand and we reply by email, usually within 48 hours.
  • We approve partners who introduce ViralUp to a real audience they own or influence, such as creators, educators, communities, newsletters, and agencies.
  • We may decline or later remove any partner at our discretion, including for the conduct listed in Section 6.
  • You must be legally able to enter an agreement and to receive payments in your country.

Approval is for you as an approved partner. You may not transfer or sell your partner account or referral link.

2. Commission structure

  • Rate: 20% recurring commission on the subscription revenue of customers you refer.
  • Earning window: commissions accrue for the first 12 months of each referred customer's subscription. The 12 months are counted per customer, starting at that customer's first payment. After 12 months, that customer stops generating commission even if they stay subscribed.
  • Eligible plans: commissions are earned only on the Daily plan and above (Daily, Pro, Scale, Ultra). The Launch and Starter plans are excluded, and one-time credit packs are excluded. A referral who subscribes only to an excluded plan generates no commission.
  • Monthly plans: you earn 20% of each monthly payment the customer makes within their first 12 months.
  • Yearly plans: a yearly plan is paid once up front, so it earns one commission equal to 20% of that yearly payment at the time of purchase. If the customer makes any further paid renewal inside their first 12 months, that renewal also earns 20%. In practice a yearly referral is one large commission rather than twelve monthly ones.
  • Refunds and chargebacks: if a payment is refunded or charged back, the related commission is reversed. This is the reason for the payout hold in Section 4.

We make no income promises and no earnings guarantees. Any figures we publish are illustrations of the formula, not typical or expected results.

3. Tracking and attribution

  • Approved partners receive a personal referral link. We track referrals through Rewardful.
  • When someone clicks your link, a referral cookie is set for 60 days. If they start a paid subscription within that 60-day window, the subscription is attributed to you.
  • Attribution follows standard last-touch rules through Rewardful. If a customer later clicks another partner's link before subscribing, the most recent valid referral is credited.
  • The 60-day cookie decides whether a signup is attributed to you. It is separate from the 12-month earning window in Section 2, which decides how long an attributed customer keeps generating commission.
  • Do not attempt to alter, force, or manipulate tracking, cookies, or attribution.

4. Payouts

  • Hold: each commission is held for 60 days before it becomes payable. The hold lets the refund window pass so that reversed payments do not get paid out.
  • Minimum threshold: payouts are made once your payable balance reaches $50.
  • Rollover: a balance under $50 rolls over to the following month and keeps accumulating until it crosses $50. It does not expire while your partner account is active.
  • Method: payouts are sent by PayPal. You are responsible for providing valid PayPal details and for any taxes on your commissions.
  • Schedule: eligible balances above the threshold are paid on a monthly schedule.

5. Promotion standards

  • Disclose every paid or incentivized promotion clearly, using #ad or #affiliate or the equivalent required in your region.
  • Represent ViralUp honestly. Use accurate, current information about features, pricing, and results.
  • Keep to your own channels and audience. Content-led and organic promotion is what the Program is for.

6. Prohibited conduct

The following are not allowed and are grounds for removal and forfeiture under Section 7:

  • Self-referral: earning commission on your own accounts, your teammates' accounts, or any account you control.
  • Coupon and deal sites: listing ViralUp on scrape-and-list discount or coupon aggregators.
  • Brand bidding: bidding on ViralUp trademarks, brand terms, or close variants and lookalikes in paid search or other paid ads.
  • Misleading claims: false or exaggerated statements about ViralUp, its pricing, its features, or expected earnings and results.
  • Incentivized signups: paying, rewarding, or otherwise inducing people to sign up in a way that does not reflect genuine interest.
  • Spam: unsolicited email, unsolicited messaging, or any promotion that breaks the rules of the platform you use.
  • Tracking abuse: cookie stuffing, forced clicks, typosquatting, or any manipulation of attribution.
  • Trademark and content misuse: using ViralUp brand assets in a way that implies endorsement beyond an approved partnership, or registering domains or handles that impersonate ViralUp.

7. Termination and fraud

  • Either side may end participation at any time. You may stop promoting and close your partner account. We may suspend or terminate a partner account at our discretion.
  • On ordinary termination, commissions already earned and past the hold are paid on the normal schedule, subject to the $50 threshold.
  • Fraud forfeiture: if we determine that commissions arose from fraud or from a breach of Section 6, those commissions are void and any unpaid balance connected to that conduct is forfeited. We may also reverse amounts already paid where permitted.
  • These terms do not create an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship. You act as an independent party.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Program evolves. When we make a material change, we update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify approved partners by email. Continuing in the Program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
